Grant helps Blanson increase production efficiency

Leicester-based Blanson Ltd makes pressurated products from acrylic for the pharmaceutical and medical industries and also submersibles (submarines). Following a huge increase in demand during the pandemic, they faced issues with capacity, personnel and equipment capabilities.

With support from the Business Gateway, they were successfully awarded a growth grant. This enabled them to purchase two pieces of equipment including a new bandsaw-cutting machine which is not only safer but has also provided an increase in productivity.
