Innovate UK Innovation Loans
Innovation Loans Round 13
This is the thirteenth round in a series of funding opportunities, where loans of between £100k and £2m are available to fund late-stage research and development projects for SMEs who have a clear route to commercialisation and who are
suitable to take on the significant financial commitment of a loan.
Round 13 will open on Thursday 11 January 2024 and will close at 11am on Wednesday 6 March 2024.
First Enterprise Small Loans for Business
First Enterprise – Enterprise Loans provides unsecured finance ranging from £500 – £250,000 to businesses at any stage whether starting up, expanding or for recovery. The Responsible Finance provider specialises in supporting those
businesses who may find it difficult to attain finance from high street banks.
Midlands Engine Investment Fund
Midlands Engine Investment Fund offers four different funding options to help your business grow, ranging from small business loans to fund start-ups, to later-stage equity investment that allows established businesses to continue growing.
Sir Thomas White Charity
Leicester based charity providing interest free business loans for under 45s of up to £20,000 for small businesses based in Leicestershire and Rutland.
Harry James Riddleston Charity of Leicester
This Charity offers interest-free loans of up to £10,000, between 5 and 10 years to start or expand a business, or for vocational or educational advancement.
To be eligible you must be over 18 and under 45 years of age.
Candidates must reside in Leicestershire or Rutland, and conduct the business there.
Sporting Capital Fund
The £3m Sporting Capital Fund provides loan funding of between £50,000 and £150,000 to eligible organisations. The loans are available to fund organisations that make a difference to individuals and communities through sport.

Loans are available from £5k to £1m directly from a wide range of investors, including more than 44,000 people, the UK Government, local councils, a university and a number of financial organisations.
