Only a few months left to SPRING into action for iNet grant

There are just over two months left before iNet’s SPRING grant programme closes. SPRING – Supporting PRoductivity, INnovation & Growth – aims to support SMEs looking to increase their capacity or capability. iNet offers intensive support for growth and productivity improvements. The programme is due to end on 30 April 2022.

The support includes:

  • A business review
  • Part-funding (grant) to attend trade fairs through our ‘exhibitor package’
  • Up to 2 days 1:1 support – market/technology growth assessment
  • Part-funding (grant) towards external costs of investments in enhanced capabilities and new technologies including equipment required to take new products, processes and services from early development to production (circ 30% of up to £12,000 spend).

Examples of eligible forms of expenditure:

  • Small items of equipment or tooling (costing less than £5,000) e.g. transducers
  • Specialist technical/engineering services e.g. refurbishment, installation
  • Related IT hardware and software for systems integration and business process improvement
  • Specialist software, CAD, test facilities upgrade, area refurbishment
  • Manufacturing process and equipment enhancements that improve throughput or efficiency
  • Waste reduction, recovery and re-use of end-of-life materials
  • Supply chain services e.g. sector-specific accreditation
