Two weeks left to submit Leicester Business Festival 2023 event applications
12 September 2023The application deadline to host an event at Leicester Business Festival has now been announced. On Monday 25 September at 11:59pm the application form to host an event will close.
The form can be accessed online and guides event organisers through the details required. There are useful resources available on the website in relation to organising an event. The website can be found at www.leicesterbusinessfestival.com
This year, businesses have been applying earlier than ever which has meant that the line-up is already shaping up and truly showcases the breadth of talent, knowledge, and expertise across business sectors in the region. Events need to benefit the businesses and people in the region or help place Leicestershire in a national or international spotlight.
Event topics so far include productivity, responding under pressure, well-being, and tactics to create a visible business. With many more events being announced weekly until all 80 slots are taken.
By hosting an event businesses can benefit from exposure, recognition, networking, revenue leads, loyalty and more. The application process is simple, and details can be found online.
LBF is in its ninth year and will take place from 6-17 November 2023. Over the last eight years there’s been over 41,000 attendees from all over the country, and world.
Large or small businesses from all sectors can get involved with the two-week festival which incorporates free business events varying in size, structure, and type.
There’s also a variety of venues partnering with the festival which offer either free or discounted space for businesses to host their event. Festival events can also be hosted online.
Richard Osborn, Regional director at Excello Law, Chair and a director of the LBF Community Interest Company (CIC) said: “For the festival to have an impact, an array of local businesses needs to get involved and run events that showcase innovation, culture, and commerce as well as spark new ways of thinking or delivering.
“The festival is an annual opportunity for businesses to host an event during a phenomenal fortnight that boasts an audience that is dedicated to growth for themselves, their business and region.
“I would urge businesses not to miss out and showcase what’s happening within their own industries. This is a genuine opportunity for Leicester and Leicestershire to attract people from around the city and county and further to come to the festival and see what we have to offer.”
The full programme will be launched in October, and all events will be bookable via the LBF website: www.leicesterbusinessfestival.com
The application form is quick to complete and available on the Leicester Business Festival website: www.leicesterbusinessfestival.com/event-application-form
So far, the festival is being supported by De Montfort University (partner), Pattersons Commercial Law (partner), University of Leicester, Everards of Leicestershire, The Sir Thomas White Loan Charity, Leicester Hospitals Charity and TheMusicLicence, by PPL PRS Ltd (music partner).
