The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise – apply now to celebrate your achievements

Here at the Business Gateway, we’re committed to celebrating the success stories of our local businesses – both to encourage others to follow in their footsteps and to help put Leicestershire on the map as a great place to do business. In terms of recognition, you can’t do better than to receive The Queen’s Award for Enterprise – an honour bestowed on only 200 or so UK businesses each year, and one that has substantial proven benefits.

Past winners have enjoyed increases in enquiries, orders and sales, improved relationships (and, sometimes, better terms) with suppliers and customers, a massive boost in staff morale (which, in turn, helps retention and productivity) and real global recognition.

On top of this, winners are awarded a beautiful trophy by The Lord Lieutenant, are invited to a Royal reception and are able to display The Queen’s Award for Enterprise logo on their stationery, website and marketing collateral for five years. You can apply for more than one category, if you want to.

Entries for this year close on 9 September, so you’d need to move quite quickly if you wanted to apply this time around. Alternatively, they will re-open for next year in early May 2023.
