The Innovation Challenge is brought to you by TBAT Innovation with headline sponsor Shakespeare Martineau and has been designed by their expert team to stimulate and support innovation in SMEs. It leverages the expertise of their unique partner network while seeing partners come together to deliver four free to attend, vibrant and informative workshops.
Once the final workshop has concluded in June, the final stage of The Innovation Challenge will open. TBAT will invite applications for businesses to submit a full business plan to be considered for our exciting prize package.
The winner will receive a £5,000 cash prize and support packages from partners involved in The Innovation Challenge, tailored to their needs. Furthermore, two runners-up will receive a free support package from partners involved in The Innovation Challenge.
TBAT will host a final showcase event in October 2023 to announce the winner from 10 finalists who will be invited to pitch their business plan in 3 minute presentation in front of key investors.
The Application window will open on March 23rd, with further details on how to apply to be announced.

These topics are barriers that many innovative businesses face, and can cause delays to R&D projects or taking innovative products to market. By discussing these problematic areas openly, the challenge aims to highlight opportunities to reduce the effects of these barriers.
