REBUILD OF GLEN PARVA YOUNG OFFENDERS FACILITY CREATES MASSIVE OPPORTUNITY FOR LOCAL SUPPLY CHAIN COMPANIES.

As part of the Ministry of Justice Estates Transformation Programme, Her Majesty’s Young Offenders Facility at Glen Parva has been demolished and subsequent to the demolition stage, a new 1,680 capacity prison is being constructed by Lendlease.

Crown House are delighted to have made a successful start on the HMP Glen Parva site, after being appointed by Lendlease to carry out and complete the £87m contract to design and construct the Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health Services (MEP), specialist fire and security packages.

The Contract commenced offsite in August 2020, on site in June 2021 and runs through to November 2022.

Using its innovative Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) capabilities CHt will deliver the full MEP services to accommodation buildings, ancillary buildings and site wide infrastructure. This will include the modulation of residential building risers and roof services, de-centralised DfMA packaged plant solutions and the development of a cast in conduit solution for vandal resistant services.

We have engaged over 16 specialist sub-contractors who have supported our social values project initiatives.
