If your business has been affected by the pandemic, you still have a few days to apply for a Restart Grant as applications close on 30 June 2021.
This one-off grant is available to non-essential retail businesses and hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym businesses. To be eligible, your business must have been a ratepayer at 1 April 2021.
Grants have already been paid to businesses that were receiving on-going lockdown grant payments and to qualifying new businesses that have applied.
Any new applications from eligible businesses that have not already received a grant must be made by 30 June 2021.
Leicester City Mayor, Peter Soulsby, said: “Lockdown restrictions have affected businesses across the city, and these grants can provide much-needed financial support. I’d urge any business that has not yet received a restart grant to check whether they are eligible and make sure they claim the help to which they are entitled.”
