What’s new in social media?

These days it feels like the world of social media is changing on a daily basis. The problem is what is worth knowing and what is just another shiny new object?

With many businesses investing more time across social media, it is vital to have an understanding of what changes have happened across the social media channels, how those changes might impact your business and/or your social media strategy and how you might be able to take advantage of those changes.

Who should attend this webinar?

Anyone using, or considering using social media to increase their own visibility online, or increase the brand awareness of their company and who needs to keep their finger on the pulse of what’s happening.

What will we cover?

  • Core social media concept changes
  • Changes to Facebook
  • Changes to Twitter
  • Changes to Instagram
  • Changes to LinkedIn
  • Changes to Pinterest
  • Changes to other platforms including TikTok

What outcomes can you expect from joining us?

After attending this webinar, you will:

  • Have an understanding of the changes going on in the world of social media
  • Learn of the results of tests and experiments, studies and research being conducted and what that means for your use of the platforms
  • Be able to implement new ideas from new functionality being released

Who’ll be presenting this workshop?

Paul Ince is owner of ‘LikeMind Media’ in Loughborough – he’s a digital marketing strategist who believes that the people working within the business are best placed to talk about it. He helps organisations understand their voice and puts strategies in place to amplify it to their market. With nearly 20 years’ experience in the IT industry he has supported many businesses to increase their visibility online and grow their business through digital technology.

These sessions are hosted by the Digital Upscaler project, East Midlands Chamber and part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund

Please note: This event is fully funded and FREE for you to attend. In return, we ask for a few minutes of your time to complete an SME Enrolment form, if your business has not already done so. Only one form per business is required. Without a completed form we cannot guarantee your place on this or future Business Gateway events. Further details will be provided upon booking.

The Chamber’s Enterprising Women network supports female professionals and business owners to connect, grow and succeed throughout their careers. Through its events programme, members can build valuable relationships, get support, develop their skills and share experiences.
