Event Details

In this short webinar, delivered by Ted Spiller, Compliance Consultant at CertiKit, we will cover some of the reasons and benefits for implementing the ISO14001 standard to help you reduce the environmental risks that can affect both your business and your community. Topics will include:

– Why do you need ISO14001?
– Benefits of a fully implemented environmental management system
– The 10 steps to implementing ISO14001 into your business
– The certification process
– Maintaining the management system when in place

Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC, or COP27, over 55 countries tried to ‘thrash out’ the details for an international climate agreement to attempt to limit global warming to 1.5C above ‘pre-industrial temperatures’.

Many areas of environmental risk are closer to home, and each organization or business can contribute to reducing those risks to their environment and, to an extent, help drive environmental sustainability further afield.

The implementation of standards such as ISO14001, the international environmental management system, help organizations of all sizes and across all business sectors identify potential environmental aspects within their own areas, and put in place plans and actions to reduce, or even eliminate, those risks.

This session will be demystify some of the reasons and benefits of implementing ISO14001.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) in partnership with East Midlands Chamber.
