Make the most of LinkedIn

Each social media platform is different. Understanding some of the specific features and how they contribute to your success can make the difference between success and failure. In these sessions, we’ll cover the features, hints and tips to make your use of the platform a triumph. These are a deep dive into the platform showing examples of work that businesses and users have created that are considered good practic

Who should attend
Any business using social media already that wishes to understand more about the platforms they are already using (or who are thinking of changing their strategy to include other platforms). This is a great addition to the Social Media Bootcamp workshop, but a great choice for anyone that feels the Bootcamp is too broad for their needs.

What will we cover:

  • Key features of a platform’s account setup
  • Making the most of bio/profile information and positioning your business
  • Specifics on elements of the platform that are getting the best results right now
  • Future developments: what’s speculation, what’s confirmed

By the end of this webinar delegates will:

  • Greater understanding of the features of the platform
  • Get better results from your use of the platform
  • Improve your discoverability on the platform
  • Forward planning for the future to stay ahead

Who’ll be presenting this workshop?

Paul Ince is owner of ‘LikeMind Media’ in Loughborough – he’s a digital marketing strategist who believes that the people working within the business are best placed to talk about it. He helps organisations understand their voice and puts strategies in place to amplify it to their market. With nearly 20 years’ experience in the IT industry he has supported many businesses to increase their visibility online and grow their business through digital technology.

These sessions are hosted by the Digital Upscaler project, East Midlands Chamber and part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund

Please note: This event is fully funded and FREE for you to attend. In return, we ask for a few minutes of your time to complete an SME Enrolment form, if your business has not already done so. Only one form per business is required. Without a completed form we cannot guarantee your place on this or future Business Gateway events. Further details will be provided upon booking.

The Chamber’s Enterprising Women network supports female professionals and business owners to connect, grow and succeed throughout their careers. Through its events programme, members can build valuable relationships, get support, develop their skills and share experiences.
