PR can be an effective and free way for businesses to raise their profile and gain new visitors/guests, but many businesses are unsure about where to start.
This workshop is open to businesses in Leicester (and Chamber members in Leicestershire).
This introductory session to doing your own PR is aimed specifically at people from Visitor Economy businesses: visitor attractions, accommodation, activity and experience providers, cafés, bars and restaurants etc.
These interactive workshop will:
- Breakdown the skills and strategies needed to promote your tourism business in print, on social media, radio and television.
- Include time to reflect on and start doing (or improve) your own PR.

After a twenty year career in education (with a focus on coaching and staff development), Molly has gradually built up a career in social media marketing and PR. In addition to her own blog about Derbyshire, Lovely Local Indie, Molly has worked in a freelance capacity for dozens of local SMEs to empower them to develop their social media, marketing and/ or PR.
