Events pour in for Leicester Business Festival

24 July 2023

Leicester Business Festival 2023 is one of the most unique dates in the business calendar and is taking place from 6-17 November. A few weeks since launching and 40% of the 80 event slots have already been applied for.

Alexandra Carr from TheMusicLicence, by PPL PRS Ltd are music partners of the festival. She explains more about getting involved with LBF: “The time is now to apply and host an event. The events will be free to attend. An event could be a demonstration, round table, expert panel, or a tour to showcase across all business sectors.

“Any businesses interested need to submit their event idea via the online form with the details including venue, times, objective of the event. A panel of people on behalf of the festival choose the final line-up.

At PPL PRS, we are immensely proud of having our home here in Leicester and being a part of the music scene. We love getting involved with Leicester events sand supporting businesses to use live music, radio, television in their workplaces by ensuring they have TheMusicLicence. We are not for profit – so after our operating costs, the fee for the licence goes back to the musicians themselves.

“There is a fantastic music scene in Leicester and music plays an important role in wellbeing for people professionally and personally.”

Leicester Business Festival 2023 will showcase why Leicester and Leicestershire as an area is innovative and provide a supportive place for businesses to get together and connect. All shapes and sizes of businesses can get involved; around 900 businesses took part last year. The number of events is limited so it is important that businesses interested submit as soon as possible.
