Digital Upscaler Technology Forum dates announced

First of its kind, Digital Upscaler a technology-focused business support project delivered by East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) has launched an autumn series of Technology Forums to support high growth businesses across the region.

This series of Technology Forums will showcase emerging technologies within Artificial Intelligence, Gamification, Data Analytics and Digital Marketing.

Developed in conjunction with De Montfort University, Leicester each session will consider how businesses are currently exploiting these technologies to enhance productively, improve performance and reach new markets. They will also take a look at the future and see how these technologies might evolve.

Paul Humphreys, Head of Scale Up Services at the Chamber said: “The Digital Upscaler Technology Forums will shine the spotlight on new and emerging technologies. It will allow SMEs to see first-hand how they can introduce digital technology to reach new markets, new customers and gain more business.”

The Chamber’s team of Digital Technology Advisers are currently working with over 80 clients whose growth plans include the adoption of new technology. These businesses have accessed fully funded diagnostic consultancy and have started to explore how technological advances can support their business plans, and with support, through Digital Upscaler they are making technology a “growth” partner.

The Digital Upscaler project is open to eligible SMEs across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire and part-funded by European Regional Development Fund and the Chamber. Its aim is to support ambitious high growth businesses by providing intensive 121 adviser support, knowledge, investment and capacity to scale-up through embracing new technologies.
