Gambling Act

This Commission regulates gambling in Britain in partnership with licensing authorities. If you operate a gambling business they can help you check what type of licence you need and issue what is needed. Following consultation, the government are planning to change the regulations that apply to the land-based gambling sector. This page will be updated to reflect the changes following the publication of the secondary legislation.

The information sheets attached provide details of the nature of compliance visits conducted by local authority authorised officers, and can be given to the gambling operator to satisfy the inspection provision regulations.
