South Charnwood United Business Alliance (SCUBA) aims to strengthen relationships between businesses in our local community, as well as providing the free opportunity to build links with our school.
As a school, we are aware that we are educating the ‘workforce of the future’ and want to work together with local businesses to ensure our young people have the right skills and attributes for the world of work. In partnership, businesses can help our pupils with their post 16 career pathways by supporting events such as careers speed networking and ‘Meet the Employer’ activities.
Our SCUBA meetings provide an opportunity for local businesses to network with each other. It has been fascinating to witness new business relationships beginning to flourish as a result of our SCUBA meetings.
All local businesses, big or small, are most welcome to join our SCUBA network which is organised by our Year 10 Business Ambassadors to help ‘build your business; build our future’.
Please feel free to arrive from 4pm onwards for informal networking before we begin the event at 4.30pm. Please use the school Bus Park for parking, accessed from the main road. Our team of Ambassadors will be there to greet you and show you into the school.
