A warm welcome awaits you at this networking event for businesses. Where you will meet students (as well as other businesses and support organisations) at Brooksby Hall. Meet with the purpose of gaining an understanding of how you can influence their futures. We want to give our students the opportunity for experiences that will help them to get into college or employment.
The line up so far includes Melton Mowbray students, local businesses, Melton Borough Council and the Leicester and Leicestershire Careers Hub, working together to create experiences of the working world.
Your participation will help students make informed decisions about their future. An additional benefit of your attendance, if you are a business local to Melton will be an opportunity to learn about what available local business support there is, for you.
We would love it if you came away from our Melton United Event better informed on activities you can sign up to in the area and initiated some valuable interactions with current students. These interactions would have the pay out in some years time of those same students reaching out to you looking for a work placement or a job having already established contact.
This event is perfect for all businesses; you can meet students and teachers, network with new business people, find out how to grow your business, hear from the District Council, learn about the local skills landscape and meet your Social Value responsibilities.
