Register your interest now in attending a fully-funded event aimed at boosting investment opportunities for 15 high growth small businesses in Leicester and Leicestershire.
FundingHero is partnering with the Business Gateway Growth Hub, British Business Bank and Barclays Eagle Labs to stage a 3-hour session on how to plan for early major funding rounds.
What’s covered
Fifteen eligible businesses will be invited to attend the FundingHero workshop at Barclays Eagle Lab Leicester on 15 October. They will:
* Learn how to form a plan for a raise of between £100,000 and £3 million
* Access support to prepare the financial strategy needed to win investors
* Gain understanding of the importance of setting a fundraising budget
* Receive insights into what a realistic timeline will look like for raising investment
What you will gain
The first 100 applicants to register their interest in the workshop will each receive a free 1-month pass to access the FundingHero online self-help platform.
Of the 100 applicants, 15 will be invited by organisers to progress to the workshop at the Innovation Centre.
As well as gaining a 3-hour session led by experienced CFO Jim Shirley, attendees will meet and hear from representatives of Barclays and British Business Bank.
In addition, each of the 15 workshop attendees will receive a free 12-month licence to access the FundingHero platform.
Who should register?
Owners of high growth microbusinesses and SMEs in Leicester and Leicestershire turning over at least £100,000 annually.
You will be looking to develop a practical roadmap to accessing financial investment needed to unlock further growth. This may be through raising funds through either loans or equity.
Event organisers will review applications and contact the 15 businesses which will gain the most impact from the workshop.
