Business Gateway Grant
Capital grants from £2,000 to £25,000 for eligible SMEs.
Digital Growth Programme
Grants for the introduction of new systems and software to improve business performance and productivity. Grants from £2,000 – £25,000 are available (higher project values will be considered) with a 35% intervention rates.
Green BELLE supports SMEs in Leicester and Leicestershire to increase their energy efficiency, reduce their energy costs and lower their carbon emissions. Grants of £1,000 to £10,000 are available.
Leicester Employment Hub
Recruitment specific support and grant funding to support employment of new staff and upskilling of new and existing staff (level 4 upwards).
Leicester Innovation Hub
Innovation vouchers up to £4,000 (consultancy, analytical services and sustainability audits) are available to use with the University of Leicester for qualifying SMEs interested in developing new products, services and processes.
Manufacturing Growth Programme
Supporting SME manufacturers to grow by identifying, understanding and removing barriers to growth and enabling sustainable business improvement. Grants up to 35% towards an improvement project, grant value starting from £1000.
Life Science companies in the Leicester and Leicestershire area can get support to develop new and existing products and services. Innovation grants up to £20k, Med tech trials grants up to £50k and specialist networking event grants up to £3k.
NBV Grant for Enterprise and Grant for New Business
Grants from £1,000 to £2,500 for new businesses or if you are looking to grow at 25% of costs. Grants can be used for capital purchases (tools, equipment, IT etc) as well as consultancy services (sales, marketing, websites).
PROmoting SME Product Enhancement and Research, PROSPER from The iNet
Managed by The iNet and based at Loughborough University PROSPER will make it easier for SMEs to accelerate their development and implementation of new products, processes and services, as well as working with UK research institutes. The programme will operate from January 2020 through to December 2022.
