Hinckley and Bosworth Rural England Prosperity Fund

Rural businesses and organisations are being invited to apply for grants to help them to become greener.

A new scheme aimed at boosting the rural economy has been launched by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council and will run until March 2025.

This fund is now closed to applications. The scheme will be open to applications on Friday 26 January 2024 and will close at midday on Tuesday 2 April 2024.

Digital experts will provide advice and support to manufacturing businesses on how to switch to advanced and automated technologies.

This programme is now open to micro businesses with 0-9 employees as well as those with 10+ employees.

Through this scheme you may be eligible for up to £250 in funding to help you undertake small scale improvement works to your premises and digital support, including new websites, online ordering platforms etc.

Works can also include internal and external decoration, CCTV system, improved signage, lighting, security and alarm systems.

A support package for new start-ups and recently established businesses to help them to become successfully established within the Loughborough BID area whilst also reducing the number of vacant units in the Town Centre.

Includes business support grants for new businesses to make physical adaptions and improvements to vacant units, including shop-fitting and signage.

UnLtd combine funding and support to help you to get started or grow. Depending on your stage of development they can offer up to £18,000.

The content fund will provide grants of £50,000 to £150,000 to indie games studios that can demonstrate an employment and revenue growth trajectory.

The Invest to Grow Programme provides loans and grants to support private sector businesses across the East Midlands to innovate, grow, adapt and create jobs.

The programme aims to generate economic activity by investing in enterprise growth and to promote the creation of new jobs and the safeguarding of existing positions.

This programme offers capital grant funding for eligible businesses by providing one off grants of between £1,000 and £25,000. Applicants must provide a minimum of 50% towards the total project cost.

Round one is oversubscribed but applications are still invited for the second round which will open in April 2024, subject to securing new government funding.

The Oadby and Wigston Borough Council Shop Front Improvement scheme is aimed at businesses in the borough to make improvements to their shop fronts.

Grants of up to £2,000 are available, to be matched by the applicant, for a number of improvements.

Innovate UK offer funding and support across all academic disciplines and industrial areas from the medical and biological sciences to astronomy, physics, chemistry and engineering, social sciences, economics, environmental sciences, and the arts and humanities.

The Harborough Rural Grant Scheme now open.

Eligible businesses across Harborough District are invited to apply for a grant between £5,000 – £20,000 under 1 of the 4 grant themes.

Round 1 funding has now been fully allocated. The grant scheme will remain open and applications received will be reviewed and considered for the next round of funding which will be available from April 2024.
