What you’ll learn:

* How to develop a solid financial plan and budget when considering selling overseas.
* Find out the different types of finance available including: trade credit, export credit insurance, working capital loans, and government-backed programmes.
* Hear tips and techniques for optimising working capital management, managing foreign exchange risk, improving cash flow efficiency, and reducing operational costs.

Description:

The webinar will be delivered in partnership with Santander UK.

Having international growth plans is exciting. But for any business owner, that excitement can be quickly stunted by financial fear.

Getting the numbers right will not only set you up for success in your new market(s), but will protect your business in the long run.

Also, knowing the different sources of finance available to you when you are trading internationally, and choosing the right one for your business is imperative.

Santander UK’s Trade Barometer research shows that:

9% of UK businesses say that the cost of trading internationally is a risk for them now, and in the next 1-2 years.
8% see accessing finance as a core challenge when operating internationally.
21% want more support to understand the ‘total cost’ of setup in a new market.
If you’re looking for advice on how to develop a solid financial plan and budget for your international growth plans, along with the techniques for optimising working capital management, then this session is for you.
