Event Details

Billions of people worldwide participate in social media content creation, but here’s a hot take: not everyone is good at it. It seems like some people have a knack for creating social media posts that are engaging, interesting, funny, or useful, and some people are destined to struggle.

Covered in this half day workshop:

1. How to create a content plan.
2. What imagery will work on which platform (we will be focused primarily on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook although the principles will apply across all).
3. How to use AI in a productive way without looking like you’ve just copied and pasted!
4. Implement your plan using a technique called batching content.
5. Walk away with a portfolio of content you can use in your business.

Why is this workshop different? This will be a half day interactive session where attendees will develop content in the workshop. Attendees will need to bring laptops or tablets as the session is designed in such a way that businesses will have implementation time at various points in the workshop.

This workshop will be delivered by social media expert Karen Cureton of Cureton Consulting. Karen has worked with scores of businesses over the years, as both a Social Media Trainer and Manager and has decades of experience when it comes to sales and understanding the customer experience.

In order to apply for this programme you must:

* Be based in Leicester City
* Have been trading for over 12 months

This FREE workshop would usually cost £400 to attend and is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Leicester City Council. Due to funding restrictions, only businesses based in the Leicester City Council area are eligible to attend.
