Event Details

In this free webinar with Enterprise Nation Jill Poet will help you understand the full meaning of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) in the small business context and how it will help your business thrive.

Considering environmental impacts, caring about people and aiming to make a positive impact can help your business stand out from the crowd.

Governance in simple terms means the systems you have in place to ensure you are operating ethically and efficiently and meeting legislation.

Jill is the co-founder and CEO of the Organisation for Responsible Businesses (ORB), a national not-for-profit, member-owned company limited by guarantee. Since 2010, ORB has been promoting responsible business in the small business community, from a sole proprietor upwards, as a holistic approach that means people, planet, profit and purpose should be aligned.

Prior to launching ORB, Jill worked for micro and small businesses for 40 years. She is passionate about helping the small business community thrive whilst simultaneously making a positive impact in our society.

Key takeaways from this session:

  • Learn how to embed ESG principles in your business
  • Understand how and why to avoid ‘greenwashing’ and ‘greenhushing’
  • Discover how to maximise the broader business benefits of ESG
