Energy Bill Discount Scheme

The Energy Bills Discount Scheme runs for 12 months from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024.

This scheme replaces the Energy Bill Relief Scheme.

Help with Energy costs

From 1 July the average pre-payment meter (PPM) user will no longer pay more for their energy than those on direct debit, saving around £21 per year.

This will be delivered through the Energy Price Guarantee by providing a unit rate discount. The discount incorporates the differences between PPM and direct debit costs in both unit rates and standing charges.
