A NETWORK of over 30 groups and organisations is set to receive over £2.6million in funding to deliver advice, support and training for Leicester businesses, people and communities. The local projects will be supported through Leicester City Council’s allocation of cash from through the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

NatWest support for SMEs includes a business growth accelerator programme, grant finder, digital help plus 1-to-1 advice. Support is fully funded and open to any business.

Digital experts will provide advice and support to manufacturing businesses on how to switch to advanced and automated technologies.

The Business Gateway is working with Microsoft to provide free productivity tools aimed at micro, small and medium-sized businesses from any sector. The new initiative is a suite of free resources, including advice and training, made available by Microsoft to support small business productivity.

The Smart Manufacturing Data Hub (SMDH) supports small and medium-sized manufacturers to become more competitive by harnessing the power of data.
