Hinckley and Bosworth Council have launched the Business Prosperity Grant scheme worth £100,00 of capital funding. The scheme is open to all eligible businesses throughout Hinckley and Bosworth including the urban areas Hinckley and Burbage. There are a range of capital only grants available, with funds from £5,000 to £20,000. The grants also have an intervention rate of 75% meaning businesses and organisations need only find a minimum 25% of the total eligible project costs to apply. Businesses or organisations that have received funding from the Hinckley and Bosworth Business Prosperity Fund or the Rural England Prosperity Fund to the maximum amount are not eligible to apply.
The fund welcomes applications from small and micro enterprises who wish to invest in new technologies and equipment to deliver innovative projects that increase productivity or create local jobs. Tourism attractions and facilities can also apply to enhance and promote the visitor economy and create opportunities to increase visitor numbers to our borough. Businesses can also apply for funding to invest in green technology that will improve their carbon footprint and to develop their own green technologies. The scheme is now open to applications and closes on Monday 12 May 2025 at midday. All projects must be able to complete their projects by the end of January 2026. This project has received £100,000 from the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
