Funding opens for rural growth programme
Updated post: Deadline for Expression of Interest: 16 February 2020
Planning a project that will grow your business, create jobs or bring more money into the rural economy? You might be able to apply for a grant to help you fund it.
The RDPE – Rural Development Programme for England – Growth Programme provides funding for projects in England which create jobs and growth in the rural economy. Businesses can submit expressions of interest (EOI) until 16 February 2020.
Under the RDPE Growth Programme, there are grants for:
- food processing
- business development
- rural tourism infrastructure
The grants are funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD),
which is part of the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF).
The minimum grant for all three areas is £20,000 and workshops are planned to help business owners complete EOIs.
You can download handy booklets on each of the above themes with details on who can apply, what you can claim for, deadlines and what grants are available in our area here
