Following the political upheavals of the recent General Election and the UK’s scheduled departure from the EU, this is an informal roundtable discussion over lunch that provides firms in Rutland and Melton the chance to meet their new MP.
This is also an opportunity to raise any issues, observations or concerns with the new MP regarding current operating conditions, allowing the MP to gauge current levels of localised business and investment confidence.
Organised by East Midlands Chamber this event will explore a range of day-to-day issues such as localised infrastructure, business-rates, skills shortages, and business broadband connectivity.
Benefits of attending
- Making your voice heard, and to raise day-to-day operating issues that might have been missed amid the current ‘noise’ over Brexit;
- Understand how others are preparing their businesses for a ‘no-deal’ scenario;
- Use the gravitas of the Chamber to influence and campaign on the business issues that matter – locally, regionally, and nationally.
This event is open to all businesses.
