Learn more about the new Job Retention Scheme and explore the value it presents to your business.

The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (furlough) ends on 31 October 2020 and will be replaced on 1 November by the Job Support Scheme. But what does this mean to you as an employer?

This session will help you understand the changes taking place and explore the options open to you via the Job Support Scheme.

The Job Support Scheme is the second phase in UK government support measure for organisations during the COVID-19 pandemic. It offers grants to cover up to 22% of the salaries of employees working part-time due to the impact of coronavirus.

Who should attend:

SME employers in Leicester and Leicestershire who are currently accessing the Furlough Scheme and want to understand the Job Support Scheme and how it could work for you.

This webinar will cover:

  • How the Job Support Scheme works
  • Key differences between the Job Support Scheme and the Job Retention Scheme
  • Implications of the new Job Support Scheme – how will it affect your workforce?
  • Who does the scheme apply to?
  • How to assess its value to your business
  • Supporting employees returning to work from furlough
  • Options available to the employer in the event of further local lockdowns
  • Q&A session – with our HR expert Sarah Loates

Webinar outcome:

This session will equip you with the understanding of the new Job Support Scheme, helping you to assess the implications for your business and aid your future decision-making regarding your workforce.

About the Speaker:
