‘Bosun Tijani is the founder and Chief Executive of Co-creation Hub Nigeria (CcHUB). CcHUB which stands at the forefront of the fastest moving technology industry trends has maintained its focus on shaping the economy and the future of Africa while positioning start-ups to be the anchor of continent’s tech ecosystem.
Founded in 2011, CcHUB has launched many firsts in Africa including the continent’s first deep tech hub -NG_HUB- in partnership with Facebook and, then the first Inquiry Learning and Digital Lab model for improving STEM education in Africa, through H2020 collaborative project.
’Bosun is an innovation expert with over 16 years of experience across public and private organisations in the global technology industry. Prior to CcHUB, he worked with Pera Innovation Network (UK), Hewlett Packard – EMEA (Switzerland) and International Trade CentreUNCTAD/WTO (Switzerland).
‘Bosun continues to pursue his research interests in social innovation as an Adjunct Research Fellow (Digital Epidemiology) at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research and as a PostGraduate Researcher at the University of Leicester, UK. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Masters’ degree in Information System and Management from Warwick Business School, UK. He is a fellow of the Centre on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law at Stanford University, a Desmond Tutu Fellow and a member of the Presidential Advisory Group on Technology and Creativity in Nigeria.
A quiet revolutionary, ‘Bosun continues to evangelize an industry-wide shift to innovative technology. His mission is to drive the application of knowledge for enterprise and economic prosperity, deepen the social impact of innovation, and empower people to create shared value for the world and more particularly, Africa.
