Time to think differently about your business
If the recent upheaval of Brexit and Covid have taught us anything, it’s that things change rather than standing still. The world we know gets disrupted and from this disruption new things emerge.
In Lockdown, many businesses changed the way they did things to keep trading. Restaurants, cafes and pubs started offering takeaway instead of sit-down meals. Some pubs shared their space with other businesses to create delis and community cafes. Many used existing services like Just Eat or Deliveroo. Several retail shops went online to sell their goods and deliver them by post. Some B2B businesses changed to B2C to survive.
None of these change were huge; they were simple and low-cost and kept those businesses trading instead of shutting down. Perhaps you made some small changes in your business with some staff working from home, or you changed your packaging because of supply chain shortages. All of those changes are what’s known as innovation.
