Many SMEs and micro businesses do not do monthly accounts instead relying on an external accountant to prepare VAT returns and an annual unaudited statement.

This webinar is aimed at these businesses and will take you through what you need, discuss systems and processes and include a case study in a small business that is implementing this level of control.

What’s covered:
* P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow
* Monthly, quarterly and annual reports
* Planning – budgets, forecasts
* Ways of working – how to use the numbers
* Acquisitions and Exits

What outcomes will be achieved:
* You will appreciate what reports, controls and organisational structure is required to have good financial management
* You will understand what good looks like in terms of financial management
* You will have started to build a plan of what you need for your business

Who Should Attend:
The sessions are aimed at SME owners, directors and senior managers. Family business owners will find the discussions of particular interest. It is aimed at non-financial professionals but financial professionals will find it useful to understand how other people think and be most welcome.

Eligibility:
Workshops are open to start-up and established small to medium-sized enterprises located in the following local authority areas taking part in the East Midlands Chamber’s Accelerator project:

Leicester City;
