Event Details

The Covid-19 pandemic has created a range of people management challenges and the potential for workplace conflict. Perhaps the biggest issue facing managers as their organisations attempt to return to normality is how to bring people back to the workplace and respond to new demands for flexibility and improved work-life balance. This session will take a look at the practical problems this creates for managers and how these can be resolved and conflict minimised.

The focus of the session will be very much on providing practical advice on conflicts arising from bringing people back to the workplace and/or managing the balance of some workers at home and some in the office.

Speakers:
Joanna Nunn (tbc) – ACAS Senior Advisor / Conciliator / Mediator
Karen French – ACAS Senior Advisor / Conciliator

Host:
Richard Saundry, leading academic authority on the management of discipline, grievance and workplace conflict.

Event organised by the PrOPEL hub and by the Management School at the University of Sheffield.
In partnership with the CIPD and the ESRC.
