Covid-19 employment and benefits support from DWP10 June 2020
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has launched a new campaign around Universal Credit and COVID-19.
A new website has been launched to provide information on employment and benefits support with advice on housing, furlough, sick pay and self-employment, alongside advice and FAQs for employers, those already claiming and those making a new claim.
It provides information about the changes the government has brought in to support people who are already claiming benefits, need to claim benefits, or are at risk of losing their job as a result of coronavirus.
As the coronavirus pandemic continues to impact upon the lives and livelihoods of people across the East and West Midlands, this new website will be a vital resource for thousands who need concise, accurate information on the support available to them and their family.
