Fashion and Textiles Sector

Will you be part of the solution to rebrand Leicester's textile sector?

Making changes for the better

To recover from the impact of Brexit, Covid-19 and negative media attention, Leicester’s fashion and textiles sector needs to reinvent itself.  We need to move away from throwaway fashion and bad practices and instead produce added value quality in factories that can pass every audit.

To help bring about some of this change, as well as the support of our Business Gateway Advisers, a limited number of businesses will benefit from tailored support provided by local fashion entrepreneur, Sajjad Khan.

Meeting your needs

Saj has designed this unique opportunity for 12 businesses to secure their future success. This will be funded by the Business Gateway so free for those who take part. Working side by side with you in your factory, Saj’s team will help you:

  • improve your HR and payment processes.
  • understand how to meet the ethical standards expected in the modern supply chain
  • embrace innovation to secure the future of your business.

This support includes four, half-day workshops covering topics areas such as becoming compliant and profitable, getting through audits, the Fast Forward Supplier programme and more.
